Welcome

The Hillcrest congregation is comprised of individuals from all walks of life, including people from different age groups, backgrounds and ethnicities.  We have young families, families with teenagers, singles, retirees, new residents and third generation locals. Our priority is to worship God in truth and love and encourage each other to grow more like Christ with each passing day. We would love meeting you and sharing the marvelous ways in which God is working in and through His church.

If you decide to visit us in person, you'll find we truly strive to treat each other as family. We laugh, cry, grow, and worship together. We serve God by serving each other and our community as we reach out to our world with the life-changing truth of God's Word. We wish to reach out to you as well. Please know our doors and hearts are open to you.

GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

YOU MUST HEAR THE TRUE WORD OF GOD

"Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." (Romans 10:17)

YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE TRUE SON OF GOD

"I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins." (John 8:24)

YOU MUST REPENT OF YOUR SINS

"Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven." (Matthew 10:32-33)

YOU MUST CONFESS YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." (Romans 10:9-10)

YOU MUST BE BAPTIZED BY IMMERSION

"Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" (Acts 2:38)

YOU MUST LIVE A FAITHFUL LIFE UNTO DEATH

"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58) "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
